Vivo may not be very popular in the west, but it is a growing manufacturer in China and happens to be among the top 5 smartphone manufacturers in global shipments during Q1 2016. Needless to say they make some pretty good handsets, and the latest are looking pretty enticing.
The Vivo X7 and Vivo X7 Plus are identical in many ways. Both feature a 1.8 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of internal storage a 16 MP front-facing camera and dual-SIM capabilities.
The main differences are the screen size, battery capacity and rear camera. The Vivo X7 features a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, while the X7 Plus upgrades you to a 5.7-inch Full HD display. The smaller device does feature a 3,000 mAh battery, with the Plus version offering 4,000 mAh. As for the main cameras, the X7 sports a 13 MP f/2.2 shooter and the X7 Plus carries a 16 MP f/2.0 camera.
Interested? The Vivo X7 is set to launch this July 7th at CNY 2,498 (about $376 USD). Meanwhile, no pricing details on the Vivo X7 Plus have been revealed, but we will learn more once it hits the stores, on July 15th.
China is a very competitive market, as they have plenty of great phones at low prices. The Vivo X7 and X7 Plus seem like powerful phones, though; and they happen to look very good thanks to that metal design. Are any of you thinking of signing up?
