before we continue kindly note that it is not all android smartphone that are eligible for imei tweaking, the android phones eligible for imei tweaking are called MTK devices, and i m going to list some of it here.

Requirement/tools need for tweaking

=> chamelephon.apk (download from playstore of google it or Download it Here
)

=> your android phone

=> IMEI NO first 11 digits (35226207076)

=> and most importantly, your medulla oblongata(lol).


Procedures and steps to change your devices imei UNIVERSAL METHOD (Android V4.0 and above)

=> download and install chamelephon application, it is a straight forward application that unlike does not require any Navigations like mobile uncle and MTK Eng app. open it you will be welcomed with a screen, the first box contains your sim1 IMEI, while the second box contains your sim2 IMEI.(make sure you write down your original imei numbers before proceeding.)



=> now copy out the 11 digits imei number that is above(35226207076) and paste it in the desired sim port, either sim 1 or 2, depending where your mtn sim is, now since it 11 digits add 4 more random numbers to make it 15 digits, now you will notice the X/error sign by the right side of the box, which indicates that the imei is not yet valid

now since it 15 digits and a valid imei NO is 16 digits, now start adding number from 0-9 until you see the success/mark sign beside it (e.g if you add 0 to make it 16 and the arrow does not mark good, delete d 0 and put 1, if it does not mark good deletew the 1 and add 2, do it like this until u see the arrow sing showing good like d SS below)


=> after you have gotten valid imei click "Apply new IMEIs" and wait for it to apply



=> activate your phone to AIRPLANE Mode and deactivate your phone from airplane mode again, and you have successfully changed your device imei.. dial *#06# to check the imei.


=> wait for a welcome msg from MTN.

=> then you can buy any MTN data bundle opf your choice, and the data will be doubled for you immedietely. see ss below.

Sad As Airtel Discontinued Renewal of Night Data Plan Bundle

i think This is enough, Just last week we noticed that airtel Suddenly pushed the normal night plan bundle of N50 to N200 and we have been complaining bitterly because we all know how Airtel has been saving lot of us from internet shame.


i was still managing the 500MB for 25N because N200 is too expensive in the Bubari Regime and after i exhausted my allocated data, i tried Renewing it same night as usual but i got his silly response

so what am saying in essence is that when you subscribe for 1.5GB or 500MB after exhausting it that night, you won't be able use more than that as we have been doing before.

Each time I tried to renew the data plan or activate a different plan, I met with a data plan activation failure error. Nothing I did worked. Customer care agents could not help me either, until after several calls to 180, one agent who knew what was up attended to me.

Here’s the low down: if you have an active data plan (even if you have exhausted the data allocation), you have to opt out of (de-activate) it first. How to do that? Dial *444# – 3 – 8 – Select De-activate.

When you have de-activated the running plan, you can then activate the new plan. Do not ask me why we have to dance around in circles like that to subscribe to an MTN 4G data plan. It just works that way.

The night plan offers 1GB data plan for N200 and if that’s not exhausted within the valid time frame on the first night, it can be used the following night. If not exhausted the following night, it can be used the other
following night. I guess that’s what makes the plan exceptional.
Although I haven’t experimented much with the weekend plan, based on my usage so far, it can be used for 2 weekends. That’s if the user does not exhaust the data
allocated the first weekend of course.

Bonus Tip: If using a blackberry 10 phone, remember to change the APN to gloflat or glosecure during the night or weekend period so you don’t keep getting
charged from your normal bis plan.

Data Zapping
There was this plan we used before that gives 3GB worth of data on Airtel for N1500 (Subscription code is *440*16#), also usable on all but here is the problem » This plan zaps data, twice as much. Which means; 3GB is literally 1.5GB.

Why am I saying this? Airtel have have this new plan to entice us but I doubt if they are honest, the said data plan worth 6GB could be 3GB if properly studied via your data usage meter. This plan could be susceptible to data zapping.

Sim Eligibility

Secondly, this plan is only eligible to selected sim. Not everyone will get the chance to use this plan including me. The good news is, if you got the message, that means you’re eligible but if on a contrary; then dial *440*16# to know if your sim is eligble for this offer.

What have etisalat actually done for us this past few month? absoluteley NOTHING!!! and it really getting on my nerves, how will a network just stay like that when others are busy bringing customers to themseleves the only thing i could lay record about Etisalat is the fact that they recently brought new social me 1 day plan which i know many people are not using again because of one problem of the other, but if you still need to learn how this social me works see details here.
