hello guys,am here again with another android tutorial on how to double your mtn data via imei tweaking.
for those of you that dont know the meaning of imei tweaking, imei tweaking is just a way of disguising your android smartphone to look like another phone in the eyes of your network providers, example you can make your tecno smrtphone look like infinix phones and collect the bonus meant strictly for infinix users.
Having said this in this tutorial i am going to teach you guys how to double your mtn data, that is when you buy 1GB from mtn you get extra 1GB in return, isn't that nice? let move on.
before we continue kindly note that it is not all android smartphone that are eligible for imei tweaking, the android phones eligible for imei tweaking are called MTK devices, and i m going to list some of it here.
=> TECNO
=> INFINIX
=> GIONEE
these are the 3 phones am very sure of their imei can be tweaked.
Requirement/tools need for tweaking
=> chamelephon.apk (download from playstore of google it or Download it Here
)
=> your android phone
=> IMEI NO first 11 digits (35226207076)
=> and most importantly, your medulla oblongata(lol).
Procedures and steps to change your devices imei UNIVERSAL METHOD (Android V4.0 and above)
=> download and install chamelephon application, it is a straight forward application that unlike does not require any Navigations like mobile uncle and MTK Eng app. open it you will be welcomed with a screen, the first box contains your sim1 IMEI, while the second box contains your sim2 IMEI.(make sure you write down your original imei numbers before proceeding.)
=> now copy out the 11 digits imei number that is above(35226207076) and paste it in the desired sim port, either sim 1 or 2, depending where your mtn sim is, now since it 11 digits add 4 more random numbers to make it 15 digits, now you will notice the X/error sign by the right side of the box, which indicates that the imei is not yet valid
now since it 15 digits and a valid imei NO is 16 digits, now start adding number from 0-9 until you see the success/mark sign beside it (e.g if you add 0 to make it 16 and the arrow does not mark good, delete d 0 and put 1, if it does not mark good deletew the 1 and add 2, do it like this until u see the arrow sing showing good like d SS below)
=> after you have gotten valid imei click "Apply new IMEIs" and wait for it to apply
=> activate your phone to AIRPLANE Mode and deactivate your phone from airplane mode again, and you have successfully changed your device imei.. dial *#06# to check the imei.
=> wait for a welcome msg from MTN.
=> then you can buy any MTN data bundle opf your choice, and the data will be doubled for you immedietely. see ss below.
