The Design

Like previous Active variants of Samsung’s flagship smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active comes with a some-worth reinforced body. This makes it over 30g heavier at 184.8g and 2mm fatter at 9.9mm thickness compared with the Galaxy S7.
Just like the S7, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is IP68 certified, which means it is dust proof and can survive in up to 1.5 meters of water in up to 30 minutes.
However, were it differentiates itself is that it also offers military grade toughness with its MIL-STD-810G certification resulting in additional resistance to salt, dust, humidity, rain, vibration, solar radiation, transport and thermal shock.

Display and Camera

Samsung Galaxy S7 Active sports a brilliant 5.1-inch Super AMOLED Display with 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. It is an always on display and is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 4.

On the back, the smartphone sports a 12 megapixels camera with all the bells and whistles like OIS, Autofocus, LED Flash, HDR, Panorama, and Geo-Tagging. The rear camera also supports 4k (Ultra HD) video recording.
On the front of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active, you will find a 5 megapixels camera for selfies, wefies, and video calls.
