the iPhone 7 might be exactly what we are all expecting

We’ve seen a large number of iPhone 7 rumors so far, most of them telling the same story. The 2016 iPhone models will not feature a new design, although certain radical changes are coming. A new report from a source that proved to have intimate knowledge of Apple’s iPhone plans over the years seems to confirm some of the iPhone 7’s most rumored features.

Writing for Bloomberg , Mark Gurman said that his sources basically confirmed the signature features of the upcoming iPhone generation. The iPhone 7 – just as rumored before – will lack a headphone jack, but will have redesigned antennas on the rear, and the 5.5-inch model will feature a dual camera. Additionally, all iPhone models will lose the physical home button for a capacitive one that will simulate physical presses just like the 3D Touch trackpad does on select MacBooks.

Gurman said that the dual cameras on the larger iPhone will offer brighter photos with more details. Both sensors will capture color differently and take a picture simultaneously. The device will then produce a single picture, containing merged information from both sensors.

Furthermore, the dual camera will sharpen pictures taken in low-light environments, and the two sensors will let the user zoom while retaining more clarity.

The new home button, meanwhile, will be a pressure-sensitive device that will provide feedback to the user via a vibrating sensation supposed to mimic the current home buttons’ physical click.
Finally, the new iPhone 7 will indeed lack a headphone jack which will be replaced either by Bluetooth or Lightning headphones.

Interestingly, Gurman did not mention what Apple will call the iPhone 7, and did not refer to it as the iPhone 7. The “new iPhone” is expected to have a commercial name different than iPhone 7, recent reports have shown, as Apple might be saving this particular name for next year’s 10th anniversary iPhone, which should see an overhaul, according to Bloomberg .
